PPLD offers free online training in Microsoft Office products to all patrons whose library card starts with a 4. Enhance your job skills! These evening classes will introduce patrons to the subscription database: Learn On Demand, create an account for them, and get them started on one particular product. Prerequisites: Computer Basics and Windows Basics. Patrons must have a library card starting with 4 and know their PIN. Sign up online or call any library. This evening's focus: MS Excel. Word I: In this class students become familiar with basic word processing skills necessary to create and save word documents by learning to read the Microsoft Word screen and entering and manipulating basic text.
Prerequisites: Completion of Computer Basics and experience using a mouse and keyboard
